Recipe: Lemon Chia Seed Protein Balls

In need of a re-energizing, midday snack or a morning pick me up? You're going to want to try these bite sized protein balls. Delicious, healthy and great for on-the-go!


  • 185 grams of dried, pitted dates.

  • 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds. 

  • 25 grams of pistachios. 

  • 2 tablespoons of agave syrup. 

  • 1/3 cup of lemon juice. 

  • 30 grams of gluten free oats.

  • 2 teaspoons of organic sunflower protein powder. 

How To: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350 Degrees. 

  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper and evenly spread out the oats. Place in the oven on the middle tray for about  5-7 minutes or until oats become golden brown. 

  • Start to chop the dates until they become a paste like consistency, as well as the pistachios. 

  • Mix together the chopped dates with the agave syrup, seeds, pistachios and protein powder.

  • Stir in the toasted oats and the fresh lemon juice.

  • Roll the mixture together into balls and store in the refrigerator in an air tight container.
